Chili stated that she understood his concern and also didn’t want her baby daddy cast in a negative light if their son saw the film.
She said Dallas raised the issue with Viacom and VH1 and they all had a conversation prior to the film being released.
However, she explained that Dallas had demanded the details of him paying her the money be removed from the final cut of the film.
Chili said that Dallas didn’t want this to be film because he feared the reaction of his now 18-year-old son with Chili and others.
T-Boz and Chili were then dragged into the lawsuit, with their former manager Pebbles filing docs stating she was going to depose the women and grill them about the film and how they portrayed her in the movie.
Then on September 23rd, Chili’s deposition in the case was filed, which revealed scandalous details about the heartbreaking abortion she had when pregnant with Dallas Austin’s child.
In the docs they state that based on their knowledge, the portrayal of Pebbles was accurate and they did not act with malice when making the film.
They demanded her million dollar lawsuit be dismissed.
Pebbles explained in docs that the film showed her “as a conniving and dishonest business woman who hoodwinked three innocent girls and exploited their talent for her own personal gain.” Further, she said that contrary to what the film showed, she never controlled the band’s lawyers and always paid the girls what they were due Viacom fired back at the allegations they defamed Pebbles.According to the depo, the lawyer grilling Chili asked her if she had an abortion with Dallas Austin’s baby.The singer explained that she did have one and her ex-boyfriend did indeed pay 0 for the procedure.She said network execs agreed to remove the details of him paying for the procedure from the final cut of the film.
