Definition of validating feelings

We relate to the person that we understand what he is saying.Validating feelings is being able to sit and listen to the feelings, not fix them, not give advice and not minimize or talk the person out of the feelings.Reflective listening is used by reflecting back to the other person what you heard him say.

This means that we can “feel” how the other person is feeling and communicate it back to that person. When feelings are not validated they actually may become more intense.

SAMPLE PRAYER #1: If you want to assign your soul to Jesus Christ, and to receive Jesus Christ into your heart, and then become a Child of God, you can just say a simple prayer like this: (Please note: this prayer was dictated to me by the Lord Jesus Christ of what you can say in prayer to Him, it wasn’t put together by me.) Dear Jesus, The Saviour of the World, today I come before You and want to make You The Lord and Saviour of my life. I ask You for complete forgiveness of all of my sins.
