Our organizational objectives are clear: passing local LGBT protections at the local level, passing statewide legislation to ensure equality for LGBT people and their families and changing public opinion in the state of Florida regarding the LGBT community. Gainesville Community Alliance: GCA was founded in July, 1991 to provide an environment in which Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered people and persons supportive of them may have an opportunity to meet through educational and social activities.
