Introducing the Shroud The cloth itself measures 14.3 x 3.7 feet.

The Shroud of Turin was on public display from April 19, 2015 through June 24, 2015 in the Cathedral of St John the Baptist in Turin, Italy.

More than two million visitors came to Turin from around the world to view the Shroud.

The cloth is woven in a three-to-one herringbone twill composed of flax fibrils.

There appears a faint image of the front and back image of a naked man with his hands crossed over his groin.
